Creative Philosophy
Photography is an intriguing art form. It is truly the best of both worlds; the real and the imagined simultaneously. As a photographer I am dedicated to taking command of those worlds to create timeless images that share the story of who my clients are. Images that make you smile, laugh or bring a tear of joy to your eye. While photography is about documenting moments; it is as much about capturing the pure emotion of your life.
I believe in creating images that are timeless. I don’t chase the latest fad because it is what “everyone else is doing”. Yet, I do understand the importance of staying on top of current trends in order to innovate the services and products I offer my clients.
At Creative Photographic I provide clients with images that last through the generations, striving to build a long-term relationship with each client. Nothing makes me happier than for clients to genuinely refer family and friends to me for their images.

About Nathan Choate
Erma Bombeck the humorist once said, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.” I believe God instilled in every human a talent for making this world a better place. One of the gifts God has given me is photographic skill and creativity. I intend to use every drop of it while I am on this earth.
Photography has been a passion of mine since childhood after being gifted a 110 Instamatic camera by my parents at age 7. After studying photography and communications at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, I took on various roles and projects throughout the years as I followed a career path through graphic design and legal technology/support. However, those careers were never fully satisfying. I NEEDED to feed the photographer in me. Creative Photographic was born in 2008 so I could create images that document the magic of people’s lives.
When not behind the camera, I enjoy the simpler things in life such as time with my spouse, family and friends, a diverse range of music, any film, hiking, camping, travel and being outdoors in nature as much as possible. I work to maintain a strong faith walk and strive to make the world a better place in any little way I am able.
I enjoy getting to know people and learning the story of YOUR life; what makes you tick, your dreams, your aspirations, your challenges. People are amazing beings, and we are all on this sometimes bumpy, always adventurous, voyage of life together.
